Cross Panel

Detail of panel on the west face of Muiredach's cross in Monasterboice, County Louth. Depicted in the panel is Christ being seized in the garden of Gethsemane. Two cats are carved under the panel along with an inscription asking for prayers for Muiredach, who had the cross made.
